Private Events

Our top-floor dining room is suited for more intimate events, seating up to 16 people. We have packages to suit everyone's budget from Coffee and cake to three-course meals.​ If you have a larger event in mind, we do have an option of renting out more floors of our cafe.

DEPOSIT: non-refundable £5pp deposit required at time of booking, this will be deducted from your final bill

PAYMENT: Final payment can be given before or on the day of event

BILL: A 10% service charge will be added to any party using the dining room. We are unable to split the bill, all function bills need paid in one transaction
GUESTS: Minimum number of quests 10 people and max number of guests 16 people. If a member of your party cancels you need to let us know before the day otherwise payment will still be required for that person
ROOM HIRE: No room hire cost 

DRINK: We do not allow BYO, all drink must be purchased from the Cafe
TIMES: Food option 1-4 can run at any time of the day, Food option 5 is after cafe opening hours from 5pm.  All events have a cut off time of midnight.  

PREORDER: Food has to be pre ordered at least 48 hours before event

BOOKING: 1 week advanced booking required with deposit

ROOM ACCESS: If you have anything like cakes or decorations you can have access to the room 1 hour prior to your booking time, just let us know you are coming early. 

DECOR: We set the table, but apart from this the room comes as is. If you want to bring your own decorations this is fine as long as the room can be returned to pre-party interior without any damage. we do not allow Confetti or anything to be attached to the walls. Any decor must be collected by close next day otherwise it will be disposed off  as we don’t have room to store these unfortunately. 

ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately as our cafe was originally a house which adds to its quirk but not so much its accessibility our toilets are on the 1st floor and we do not have a lift, please keep this in mind when booking

LARGER PARTIES: If your party is larger than 16 people it is possible to book the lower ground and 1 st floor of the cafe out for your event, this would only be available after cafe closing hours.
